How we keep the lights on
All the tools, calculators, and templates on ProTradeOps are free. We don't charge for anything, and we don't run display ads.
We do earn money through affiliate links. When we recommend a third-party tool and you sign up through our link, we may receive a small commission. It costs you nothing extra.
What we link to
As of this writing, we have affiliate relationships with:
- Jobber (field service management, quoting, scheduling)
- FreshBooks (invoicing and expense tracking)
- QuickBooks Self-Employed (accounting for sole proprietors)
This list may change over time. If we add new affiliate partners, we'll update it here.
How this affects our recommendations
We only link to tools we would actually use in a trade business. The affiliate commission doesn't change what we recommend. If a tool is bad, we won't link to it just because they have an affiliate program.
That said, you should know that we have a financial incentive when you sign up through our links. We think that's worth being upfront about.

Per the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials, we disclose our affiliate relationships wherever we include affiliate links. If you see a link to Jobber, FreshBooks, or QuickBooks on this site, assume it's an affiliate link.
